Swift CFO Resigns

Ramey Peru, chief financial officer of truckload carrier Swift Transportation, will resign from his position effective Dec. 31, the carrier said.

Peru’s will remain with the company in an advisory capacity following his departure as CFO, and may remain a member of the carrier’s board of directors, Swift said in a statement.

Swift said that Peru decided to leave the company for personal and family reasons.

Swift ranks No. 11 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
