Supply-Chain Firm EnVista Opens Office for Europe, Middle East, Africa

EnVista, a provider of supply chain consulting and information technology services, said it has opened an office in the United Kingdom to serve as its headquarters for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The firm, which provides transportation spend-management services to North American clients with global shipping operations, said its new office in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, England, and its existing office in India enable it to better respond to demand for carrier invoice, audit and payment services globally.

“EnVista’s presence in EMEA is a key differentiator among domestic U.S. freight invoice audit and payment firms; we now have the regional presence and experienced resources to audit shipping to and from anywhere in the world,” CEO Jim Barnes said in the Sept. 3 announcement.

EnVista EMEA’s freight invoice audit and bill payment operations will consist of a 20-person multi-lingual staff, the company said.
