Staffing Firm TransForce Acquires DriveForce

Driver staffing firm TransForce said it has acquired DriveForce, a regional staffing company. Terms were not disclosed.

DriveForce offers staffing services in Oklahoma for commercial truck drivers as well as dock hands, forklift drivers and heavy-equipment operators.

“Future acquisitions are part of our growth strategy. Along with organic growth, we continue to seek acquisitions with like-minded companies such as DriveForce that are market leaders in providing quality and professional drivers to the industry,” TransForce CEO David Broome said in a statement.

TransForce provides commercial truck drivers to the transportation industry as well as U.S. Department of Transportation compliance services, including DOT audit preparation, file qualification services and training.

TransForce, Alexandria, Va., has no affiliation with the Canadian carrier of the same name.
