Southern Glazer’s Celebrates Drivers With Festivities, Prizes

A compilation of events thanking drivers during 2018 National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
Drivers for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits will be treated to a slew of festivities and prizes this week. The company announced in a press release that its 3,000-plus drivers will enjoy catered breakfasts, barbecues and raffles at the 61 Southern Glazer’s branch locations across the country, and each one will receive a T-shirt and hat.
“Our drivers are an integral part of our operational success,” said Bobby Burg, senior vice president and chief supply chain officer for Southern Glazer’s, according to a press release. “They’re one of the key reasons why our customers are able to keep their shelves stocked and maintain their customers’ satisfaction.”
