Using a wireless module installed with the SkyBitz GLS 200 trailer-tracking unit, Stemco’s wireless “hubodometer” transmits mileage updates, along with the vehicle location data, to the SkyBitz’ Web site.Stemco makes technology and manufacture of heavy-duty truck and trailer information and sensor technology products.“Through this alliance, SkyBitz is the first trailer tracking provider to enable up-to-the-minute mileage with every real-time trailer-tracking report,” said Roni Taylor, SkyBitz’ executive vice president.Stemco is a unit of publicly traded EnPro Industries, which manufactures sealing technologies and engineered products.
