Schneider Unit Buys Freight Payment Firm
Schneider Logistics purchased Tranzact Systems, a Homewood, Ill.-based freight payment company, and will operate the business as a stand-alone freight payment and auditing service.
The move expands Schneider’s portfolio of logistics products and services and increases cross-selling opportunities, according to Rodger Mullen, vice president of logistics for Schneider.

The new company will be named Tranzact Payment Services.
