Schneider Logistics to Provide Internet Plastics Delivery
Schneider Logistics is expanding its role in business-to-business electronic marketplaces by distributing products ordered through Plasticsnet.com.
Plasticsnet.com is an Internet marketplace for the plastics industry. It provides an opportunity for processors worldwide to use the site to order supplies and other items, said Bill Huthcinson, director of operations for Commerx.

Working with Chicago Internet marketplace developer Commerx Inc., the logistics arm of trucking giant Schneider National will give Plasticsnet.com customers the option of arranging shipping service when they buy goods online.

The site offers raw materials such as polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene among others. Customers also can buy equipment such as nozzles, valves, adapters and screws, he said.
