Ryder to Provide Warehouse, Logistics Services for Home Depot

yder System said it has been awarded a multi-year logistics and warehousing contract by the Home Depot, the world's largest home-improvement retailer.

Under the contract, Ryder will provide third-party logistics services including warehouse and equipment management for Home Depot's Atlanta and Dallas Distribution Centers.

Ryder said it expects to complete the phased implementation of the operation in September.

The two new facilities, totaling more than two-million square feet, are designed to accelerate product deliveries and improve order cycle times to stores, Ryder said.

Ryder is ranked No. 5 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
