Rush Enterprises Founder W. Marvin Rush Retires

Truck dealership Rush Enterprises said that the company’s founder, W. Marvin Rush, is retiring as chairman and will be succeeded by CEO W.M. “Rusty” Rush.

W. Marvin Rush, who founded Rush Enterprises in 1965, will continue to serve on the company’s board and will have the honorary title of chairman emeritus, the company said in a statement.

Rusty Rush has served as the company’s president since 1995 and CEO since 2006. He has overseen all day-to-day operations of the company since 2001, when he was named chief operating officer.
