Rush Buys Atlanta Truck Dealership

Truck dealership Rush Enterprises said it has acquired an Atlanta area truck and bus dealership. Terms were not disclosed.

Rush subsidiary Rush Truck Centers of Georgia bought Asbury Automotive Atlanta, which does business in the area under the name Nalley Motor Trucks.

The acquisition includes the International, Hino, Isuzu, UD, IC Bus and Workhorse franchises in Atlanta, dealership locations in Atlanta and Doraville, Ga., and a collision center in Atlanta.

Rush said the acquisition expands its network of truck centers in the Southeast and that it now operates 65 truck centers in 14 states.



Rush also said it will expand its existing  truck center in Smyrna, Ga., which sells Hino, UD and Isuzu trucks, to include International heavy- and medium-duty trucks and buses manufactured by IC Bus. The Atlanta locations will operate as part of Rush’s Navistar division.
