Roadway Launches Expedited Ocean Service from China

YRC Worldwide unit Roadway has launched an expedited ocean service from China to the United States, the company said.

The new Roadway Expedited Ocean Service for less-than-container-load shipments is at least six days faster than standard ocean transit, and features multiple weekly sailings from seven origin ports in China, the company said.

The service was launched in cooperation with YRC Logistics Global, Roadway said.

Priority unloading of containers at U.S. ports further speeds deliveries. Import shipments are expedited through the Roadway network, with guaranteed delivery to final destination.

YRC Worldwide is ranked No. 4 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
