Private equity firm Ridgemont Equity Partners has invested in the maintenance services company Dickinson Fleet Services, but financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Dickinson operates a network of mobile technicians, 15 branch locations and a national fleet maintenance program — supported by a proprietary software platform — Charlotte, North Carolina-based Ridgemont announced.
“Through organic growth and [merger and acquisition] initiatives, we plan to aggressively expand the geographic footprint of the company, add new customers and enhance an already strong service offering,” Ridgemont Partner Jack Purcell said in a statement.
Ridgemont has invested previously in other transport aftermarket businesses as well, including in Aurora Parts and Accessories and FleetPride, Purcell added.
Indianapolis-based Dickinson said it “was pleased to have selected” Ridgemont as its partner in a “joint plan” to expand services.
