Prices for GM’s Diesel-Powered Medium-Duty Trucks Rise

rices for General Motors’ 2007 line of diesel-powered medium duty trucks increased by as much as $7,600, the automaker said Wednesday in a release.

GM said the price increase is related to the additional equipment, hardware and software necessary to bring its diesel engines into compliance with more stringent federal emissions regulations that will take effect next year.

The automaker also offers gas-powered versions of its medium-duty trucks.
