Pitt Ohio to Sell Internal Software Package Starting This Month
Less-than-truckload carrier Pitt Ohio Express said it will start selling an internally developed software package, aimed at improving customer management and reducing bad accounts, to fleets this month.
The company said it originally decided to develop Cube-It to promote greater access to information by all departments within the Pittsburgh firm.“This philosophy says the business unit will make its information available, accessible and usable to the entire organization in some form, from the chief financial officer, to the business analyst to the sales force,” Kevin Jordan, director of the company’s BI3 Solutions unit, told Transport Topics.For the full story, see the Jan. 1 print edition of Transport Topics.
