Pipeline Firm to Buy Lone Star Trucking, Oil Company

lains All American Pipeline, an oil distribution firm, said it has agreed to buy Lone Star Trucking and oil firm Andrews Petroleum for about $205 million, the Associated Press reported.

Andrews and Lone Star provide marketing and transportation to buyers of natural gas liquids in the West.

The companies’ assets include a rail rack that can service 30 tank cars and a truck rack that can service seven trucks, AP said. Lone Star also has a fleet of about 50 tractor trailers.



Plains All American said the two companies had combined earnings of $17.3 million last year.

The deal is expected to close in the next 30 days, AP reported.
