Penske to Buy Texas Firm

Penske Truck Leasing Co. said Thursday it has agreed to buy Bright Truck Leasing & Bright Distribution to expand in the Texas market.

Penske, Reading, Pa., did not disclose terms of the purchase of Dallas-based Bright, which operates 3,400 pieces of equipment for approximately 2,400 customers at 19 locations in Texas.

Bright’s services include full service leases, rental and maintenance.
