Oshkosh Truck’s Fiscal 3Q Income Improves

pecialty truck maker Oshkosh Truck Corp. said Tuesday it earned $53.4 million or 72 cents a share for its third fiscal quarter ended June 30, up from $38.7 million or 52 cents a year ago.

Sales rose 8.4% to $888 million, the company said in a statement. Operating income rose 31.2% to $82.6 million.

shkosh boosted its full-year earnings forecast to $2.70 to $2.75 a share, up from a previous $2.55 to $2.65 per share.
