Oshkosh Truck’s Fiscal 2Q Earnings Rise

pecialty truck maker Oshkosh Truck Corp. said Tuesday it earned $49.8 million or 67 cents a share for its second fiscal quarter ended March 31, up from $38.2 million or 52 cents a year ago.

The earnings exceeded the company’s forecast of 58 to 62 cents per share.

Sales rose 25.6% to $844.8 million. Operating income rose 27.3% to $79.7 million.



Oshkosh reaffirmed its 2006 earnings forecast of $2.55 to $2.65 per share.
