Online Map Shows TSE Network
The Texas Transportation Institute has put an interactive map online showing where truck stop electrification units are located nationwide.
TTI said the Web site’s purpose is to provide public and private sector agencies with a tool to identify locations to implement truck stop electrification so that it will form part of a national network, have the greatest potential of reducing idling, and have the greatest environmental benefit.
The site is also useful to identify existing electrified truck stops and candidate truck stops along major U.S. truck corridors, TTI said.
The project is co-funded by a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
