ONE20, a membership community built exclusively for professional truck drivers, announced a new roadside assistance program for its members starting in August.

The Minneapolis-based company said it has partnered with RoadsideMASTERS.com, which provides roadside assistance to commercial vehicles across the United States and Canada, on the program. However, drivers who have roadside assistance through RoadsideMASTERS.com are not eligible for the new coverage.

This partnership will create the largest roadside service offering of its kind, according to ONE20, and align with its commitment to make life easier, safer and more cost-effective for professional drivers.

“Breakdowns are expensive, and this program will help ONE20 members get back on the road as soon as possible,” ONE20 CEO Christian Schenk said in a statement.

“ONE20 is changing the game for professional truckers across the country. Their approach to providing tools and services on behalf of the driver is something we want to be part of,” Jason Cohen, CEO of RoadsideMASTERS.com, said in a statement.

RoadsideMASTERS.com told Transport Topics it created three new categories of service specifically for ONE20’s members: silver, gold and platinum.

ONE20 said qualified members will be eligible for free silver-level service. Among those benefits are: 10-mile free towing for the truck and trailer, mobile mechanic service up to $100 for the call out fee, discounted hotel rooms and lease buyout financing.

Other details on eligibility for the service upgrades are spelled out at http://one20.com/roadside/.

If qualified drivers pre-register between July 10 and July 15, roadside assistance will be active on Aug. 1. For drivers registering between July 16 and July 31, roadside assistance will be active on Aug. 15, according to ONE20.

Members who purchase and activate a ONE20’s electronic logging device, the F-ELD, before Sept. 1, will get an automatic upgrade to gold level service and ONE20 silver level users will also have the option to opt into Gold coverage at a discounted rate.
