Truck technology supplier Omnitracs said it has hired David Vice as its chief sales officer, marking another addition to the company’s executive team since Vista Equity Partners purchased the business last year from Qualcomm Inc.

Vice will oversee sales and marketing while positioning the company for continued growth, Omnitracs said.

He comes to Omnitracs from global information technology company NTT Data Inc., where he was executive vice president of sales and client management.

“I look forward to working collaboratively across Omnitracs’ businesses to further strengthen customer relationships and nurture emerging business opportunities,” Vice said in the July 14 announcement.

A week earlier, Omnitracs announced the appointment of Dan Speicher as its chief technology officer.

The recent additions follow the company’s appointment of David Post as its president and chief operating officer last month.

The San Diego-based company named John Graham as CEO and Jordan Copland as chief financial officer in November.
