Oil fell from a three-week high in early trading Monday, declining more than $1 to just over $92 a barrel, Bloomberg News reported.

Crude futures had finished trading Friday at $93.45 a barrel, the highest New York Mercantile Exchange closing price since Feb. 20.

Monday’s decline was due in part to European financial concerns and Libya closing an oil pipeline, Bloomberg said.

Diesel and gasoline prices have both declined for two straight weeks after rising for much of the year.

The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of filling station pump prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
