Oil prices continued their recent slide, falling $3 Thursday to close below $66 a barrel, Bloomberg reported.

Benchmark light sweet crude futures fell $3.06, or 4.4%, to close at $65.91 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, a one-month low, Bloomberg said.

The Department of Energy said Wednesday that inventories of crude oil, gasoline and distillate fuel, which includes diesel, all rose last week.
