North America's Busiest Cargo Airports

Memphis International Airport, the home of the FedEx Express World Hub sort facility, easily retained its position as the busiest cargo airport in North America, according to the latest available data.

To keep pace with growing demand, FedEx plans to invest more than $1.5 billion to modernize and expand that facility, which currently has 163 aircraft gates.

Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, recently renamed to honor the boxing legend, ranks No. 3 on the list of cargo airports. That airport is home to UPS’ Worldport hub.
