Navman Wireless Tracking Software Adds Reporting

Navman Wireless has added a reporting system to its Internet-based tracking software, Online-AVL, the company said.

The new system gathers operational data from vehicles equipped with Navman’s Qube tracking systems and organizes it into summaries that the company said are aimed at fleet managers.

Some metrics included in the reporting system are travel time, distance traveled, stopped time, idle time and total number of idles, Navman said.

Navman’s new system can create reports for an entire fleet, or for certain fleet segments, like pickup and delivery, or over-the-road, the company said.

Navman Wireless is headquartered in New Zealand and owned by Taiwan-based MiTAC. The company’s North American headquarters are in Glenview, Ill.
