Navistar Taps Sharp to Head IT

Navistar International Corp., Warrenville, Ill., the parent of International Truck and Engine, said it has appointed Don Sharp its new chief information officer.

Daniel Ustian, Navistar’s chief executive officer, said in a statement that Sharp will work with the company's IT team to develop IT processes, standards and procedures, and will determine requirements for strategically upgrading or replacing applications, systems and technologies to streamline the Navistar’s IT infrastructure.

Prior to joining Navistar, Sharp worked for his own consulting firm, which assisted Navistar during its financial restatement/reaudit process, the company said.
