Navistar Parts Now Available Online at Amazon.com

Truck and engine builder Navistar Inc. said that it has begun selling aftermarket parts on Amazon.com.

Navistar, Warrenville, Ill., builds International trucks, different types of buses and MaxxForce engines.

“Amazon.com is a known, trusted online retailer that will help us connect with customers on a whole new level,” Patti Corso, Navistar’s E-commerce manager, said in a statement Monday.

Cotti said that shoppers can go directly to the already live site, www.amazon.com/partsmart, to read customer reviews and search by item, price, make and model, and see suggested products that complement their selections.

Navistar customers will have the same next-day, two-day and ground shipping options as most other products on Amazon, Navistar said. Shoppers will be able to pay via PayPal, Amazon gift cards or credit cards, Navistar added.

Navistar said it will sell the parts on Amazon through its PartSmart division.

Navistar Parts said its existing e-commerce site, www.partsmartparts.com, will also continue to offer parts and promotions.
