Mullen’s Third-Quarter Income Slips

Canadian transportation firm Mullen Group Income Fund said Thursday its third-quarter profit slipped to C$36.2 million, from C$38 million a year ago, while earnings per unit held at 45 cents.

Revenue rose 35% to C$352.2 million, the company said in a statement.

Trucking and logistics operating income rose 49.7%, to C$24.1 million, while revenue rose 19.2% to C$128.7 million.



Mullen, which also has oilfield services operations, is ranked No. 63 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
