Mullen’s Third-Quarter Income, Revenue Increase
anadian firm Mullen Group Income Fund said late Wednesday it earned C$32.1 million or 39 cents per unit in the third quarter, up from C$16.1 million or 34 cents in 2005.
Revenue rose 94% to C$273.4.The group said the increase in revenue is attributable mainly to 11 acquisitions completed since July 2005.
On Tuesday, Mullen acquired the Brady Group, a Canadian carrier serving the oilfield industry. (Click here for previous coverage.)
Mullen is ranked No. 95 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
