Mullen Buys Canadian Investment Firm

ullen Group Income Fund said late Thursday it signed an agreement to buy a Canadian investment firm. Terms were not disclosed.

img src="/sites/default/files/images/articles/Mullen.gif" width=200 align=right>Mullen, based in Alberta, Canada, bought Kleysen Investments Ltd., based in Manitoba, Canada. The company said it expects the deal to close this month.

In addition to its trucking units, Mullen has oilfield and gas operations.

Mullen is ranked No. 63 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
