Michigan Consumer Index Falls to Five-Year Low

U.S. consumer confidence fell last month to a five-month low, according to the University of Michigan’s monthly consumer sentiment index released Friday.The index fell to 91.3 from 96.9 in January.The level was below economists’ forecasts of a dip to 93.5, Bloomberg reported.
