Melton Truck Lines Breaks Ground on New Headquarters

Flatbed carrier Melton Truck Lines broke ground on a new 77,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Okla., that will include full driver amenities, the Tulsa World reported Tuesday.

The new headquarters will serve as a rest area for the company’s more than 900 drivers and will include a fitness facility, cafeteria and medical clinic, the newspaper said.

The planned three-story building is being built on land the company ownes adjacent to its current headquarters which will remain in use, bringing its total facilities up to 100,000 square feet.

The company expects the project to be completed in 14 months, the newspaper reported.
