Marten’s 3Q Profit Improves
Marten Transport said its third-quarter profit rose on higher truckload and logistics revenue.
Net income rose to $6.5 million, or 29 cents per share, from $6.3 million, or 29 cents, a year earlier.
Revenue rose to $163.6 million from $156.3 million, the refrigerated truckload carrier said.
Marten Transport is ranked No. 41 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
