The Distribution & LTL Carriers Conference of American Trucking Associations is worried that many of the 49,000 drivers, who DOT estimates would be needed to make up the 586,000 miles lost by enforcing the proposed 12-hour limit on driving, will be inexperienced and younger than those drivers currently hauling freight.
