Logistics Firm Worldwide Express Moving to Philadelphia’s Navy Yard

Worldwide Express is moving its Philadelphia office from Center City to the 1200 Intrepid Ave. office building in the Navy Yard business park being developed by Liberty Property Trust.

The logistics company has leased 4,600 square feet of the 92,000-square-foot, four-story building designed by Danish architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group, Wayne-based Liberty said in a release Sept. 6. In relocating from 2000 Market St., Worldwide Express, will join tenants Penn Capital Management Co., EMD Performance Materials, Paramount Enterprises International Inc. and Insperity Inc.

The Navy Yard building opened in mid-2016. Worldwide’s lease brings the building’s occupancy to 75%.
