Liberate Technologies Offers to Buy USA Truck for $21 a Share

iberate Technologies late Thursday offered to purchase truckload carrier USA Truck for $21 a share.

As part of the deal, Liberate would seek to take USA Truck private.

“The company's financial structure...does not do justice to its operational excellence,” said Philip Vachon in a letter to Jerry Orler, President of USA Truck. “In short, USA Truck should be a private company.”
