Leading Economic Indicators Inch Up in November

n index of leading economic indicators rose 0.1% in November, the New York-based Conference Board reported Thursday.

The rise in the LEI index matched economists’ expectations, Bloomberg reported.

The LEI is closely watched by trucking companies because it forecasts business activity for the next three to six months.
