Kriete Trucks Centers announced it is now an authorized dealer of Autocar-brand terminal tractors.

Often referred to as yard spotters, or simply spotters, terminal tractors are most commonly used to move trailers around a customer’s grounds.

Autocar is the oldest truck brand in the United States, entered the terminal tractor business more than a decade ago and now features products with Cummins engines and Allison transmissions, Milwaukee-based Kriete noted.

The ACTT 4x2 DOT model comes standard with a large cab, an exclusive four-point premium cab air suspension and Autocar’s semi-trailer auto-lock system.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Autocar in expanding our lineup of industry-leading brands, strengthening our ability to provide the kind of total transportation solutions customers today demand,” CEO David Kriete said in a release.

Family owned and operated for more than 70 years, Kriete Truck Centers has 10 locations across Wisconsin, and offers heavy- and medium-duty truck sales, service, parts and leasing-rental support for Hino, Mack and Volvo products. The company also offers a variety of trailer, body and loader brands. — Transport Topics
