Knight-Swift Acquires Majority Stake in Software Company Eleos

Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc. announced it acquired a majority stake in Eleos, a Greenville, S.C.-based software company that provides a mobile driver workflow platform for trucking fleets and truck operators.

Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The platform integrates with a wide variety of telematics, fleet management and dispatch systems, Phoenix-based Knight-Swift reported.

“We especially appreciate the data privacy Eleos assures each customer, and such privacy will continue for each individual customer in the future,” Knight-Swift CEO Dave Jackson said in a release.

Knight-Swift ranks No. 7 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carries in North America.
