Truckload carrier Knight Transportation Inc. said Monday it had acquired 100% of the stock of Idaho Falls, Idaho-based refrigerated carrier Edwards Bros.The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.Kevin Knight, chairman and chief executive officer of Knight Transportation said in a statement that Edwards Bros. "generated approximately $25 million to $30 million in revenue" per year and that Knight "expect[ed] to retain a majority of that revenue."Knight ranked No. 49 on the 2005 Transport Topics 100 listing of the largest for-hire carriers in the United States and Canada.
