Kenworth Set to Incorporate ‘07-Compliant Engines

enworth Truck Co. announced Thursday that its 2008 model-year vehicles are set to incorporate engines compliant with the Environmental Protection Agency’s 2007 emissions standards.

The truck manufacturer said its Class 8 trucks will have engines made my Cummins Inc. and Caterpillar Inc.

In its Class 6 and 7 vehicles, Kenworth said it will offer the Paccar PX-6 and Paccar PX-8 medium-duty engines.



Kenworth will call all of its 2007 production the “2008” model year, starting in January.

Kenworth is a division of Paccar Industries.
