Kenworth Northeast Group Inc. announced it relocated its full-service Kenworth Northeast-Albany dealership 12 miles north to a new location in Halfmoon, N.Y., calling it a “major upgrade.”

Kenworth Truck Co. is a brand of Paccar Inc.

The 27,000-square-foot facility contains 17 service bays, an 8,000-square-foot parts warehouse that is more than double the space of its previous facility and a 1,100-square-foot parts display area.

“All aspects of the facility’s design were geared around our customers and their needs,” said Craig Herron, president of Kenworth Northeast Group Inc.

The facility sits on a 5-acre lot and is within 1.5 miles of Interstate 87, a major trucking route in the area.

Kenworth Northeast Group operates five dealerships in New York, including Buffalo, Elmira, Halfmoon, Rochester and Syracuse, and a Massachusetts dealership in Boston. — Transport Topics
