J.B. Hunt Transport Services completed the purchase of Cory 1st Choice Home Delivery on Feb. 15, the Lowell, Ark.-based transportation company and logistics firm announced.

Cory’s home delivery services will be combined with J.B. Hunt Final Mile Services, a division of the company’s Dedicated Contract Services business unit.

The deal means J.B. Hunt has the ability to provide delivery services throughout the continental United States, with 100 distribution facilities and more than 3.1 million square feet of storage space.

A company spokesman told Transport Topics that all current Cory employees will transition to roles at J.B. Hunt and that former owners Patrick Cory and Marin Dragojevic will continue their current leadership responsibilities.
