Existing home sales rose 3% in January, the National Association of Realtors said Tuesday.The level rose to an annual rate of 6.46 million, from December’s 6.27 million rate, NAR said.Sales declined 4.3% from a year earlier, the group said.Existing home sales account for 85% of the residential real estate market in the United States. When a home is sold, trucks are usually used to transport household appliances and furniture.
