ogistics firm Jacobson Cos. has acquired Wilpak Inc., a package design and logistics company, the financial firm that helped facilitate the deal said. Terms were not released.
Jacobson, Des Moines, Iowa, has warehousing and distribution operations as well as customs and freight brokerage, supply chain consulting and freight payment and auditing.
Privately help by Eric Wilhelm, Atlanta-based Wilpak has had double-digit sales increases since forming 13 years ago, according to BG Strategic Advisors, which advised Wilpak in the deal.
Jacobson is ranked No. 36 in the Transport Topics 50 listing of the largest North American logistics firms.
