International Truck announced its International LT Series in 6x4, 6x2, and 4x2 configurations now feature Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes as a standard offering on all axles.

“Offering standard air disc brakes on all axles is just another example of our Uptime promise to build trucks with the latest safety technologies, that stay on the road and that drivers want to drive,” Denny Mooney, senior vice president of global product development for International Trucks, said in a statement.

The Bendix ADB22X air disc brake from Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake features a patented lightweight design that significantly reduces stopping distance and extends brake system life, according to International.

International is the brand of Lisle, Ill.-based Navistar International Corp.

Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake is a joint venture of Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems and Dana Commercial Vehicle Products.

Truck-Lite Co. components also are now standard on the LT Series.

The components achieved three standard positions on the International LT Series.

The LT Series will feature Truck-Lite components as standard equipment: the main mirror, located on the doors of the truck; the fender mirror, located on the hood of the truck; and halogen headlights, the Falconer, N.Y.-based company said.

Truck-Lite’s custom LED headlights will be available as an upgrade.

The standard halogen and optional LED lighting systems will be manufactured at Truck-Lite’s corporate facility in Falconer.
