Import Prices Rise 2.6% in June

The price of goods imported to the United States jumped 2.6% in June, the Labor Department said Friday.

The gain matched May’s increase, Labor said. Prices excluding petroleum rose 0.9%.

U.S. export prices rose 1%, following a 0.4% increase, Labor said.
