Idelic, Samsara Partner on Data Sharing Platform

Idelic on May 4 announced a partnership that will allow customers to automatically upload data using Samsara devices.
The Idelic Safety Suite is a driver management platform that integrates fleet systems. Customers using the service will have the ability to automatically upload tracking and camera data.

“Capturing data through devices that Samsara provides is incredibly helpful in understanding driver behavior,” Idelic founder Hayden Cardiff said in a statement. “Integrating that data into the wide breadth of driver information held within Safety Suite is essential to gaining a comprehensive view of driver risk.”
Samsara is a transportation technology company with offerings that include hardware, software and cloud to bring real-time visibility, analytics and AI to trucking operations.

Idelic also noted that driver information will seamlessly push back to Samsara. The partnership is intended to give fleet managers insight into their operations while further refining predictive capabilities of the safety suite.
Samsara-collected driver data will be accessible with all other driver data in Safety Suite as a result of the integration. Idelic said this gives fleets a comprehensive view of their drivers and can help them make proactive and data-driven decisions.
