Hub International Buys Montreal Trucking Insurance Broker

nsurance broker Hub International Ltd. has acquired Montreal-based AssurConseil, an insurance broker with trucking expertise, Hub said late Wednesday.

The acquisition, terms of which were not released, will add about $5 million to Hub’s revenue base and will become part of Hub International Quebec Limitee, the two said.

Hub, based in Chicago, is not related to the intermodal firm Hub Group.
