Hub Group’s 4Q, Annual Profits Reach Records

hird-party logistics provider Hub Group reported record fourth-quarter and 2005 earnings late Tuesday, posting a profit of $10.1 million or 49 cents a share for the quarter, up 45% from $7 million or 33 cents last year.

Fourth-quarter revenue rose 8.6% to $420.6 million, the company said in a statement.

Intermodal revenue rose 11.8% to $302.3 million, truckload brokerage revenue rose 15.6% to $71.2 million and logistics revenue fell to $29.7 million from $39 million.



For the full year, net income rose to $32.9 million or $1.59 a share, from $17.3 million or 92 cents. Revenue rose to $1.5 billion from $1.4 billion.

Hub Group is ranked No. 41 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics firms.
